The Radiology Department owns to its credit, as a department in private healthcare sector, as the one which pioneered many new facilities.   Under the radiology department we have C T Scan facility, 4 D Ultra sound Scan facility and many other facilities. The recently installed GE C T Scan is the best in the industry and serves the requirement of the patients which till date costed heavily to the patient. We provide 24 hours C T Scan facility. The department head Dr.Raviraj Uppoor, is available for expert opinion in regard to the scanning results.  
We also have a conventional radiology unit where the basic x-rays and specialised procedures like Intra Venous Urograms (IVU) and Hystero Salpingographies (HSG) are done routinely. We also have 5 Siemens X Ray Units. We have a number of latest ultra sound units with Doppler and 4D scan facility. Ultrasound has revolutionized the practice in    Obstetrics enabling us to detect the disease in the early stages specially ectopic pregnancies (i.e pregnancy outside the uterus) which is very common in Oman. With 4D ultra sound scan the parents can see their unborn child and walk away with a smiling face.
Ultra sound in pregnancy is done for accurate assessment of gestational age, normality and abnormality of pregnancy. Specific ultrasound tests, like Biophysical profile scoring and Doppler evaluation of fetal well being also done here. We are doing Doppler studies. ANC Doppler, extremity including both Arterial and Venous, Carotid Doppler, Scrotal and Pelvic Doppler. By the superficial high frequency probe available with our unit, we can virtually scan any swelling on the body surface including eye, thyroid, neck extremities. Ultra sound guided procedures are done regularly. The department of Radiology has the service of six full time Radiologists and is headed by Dr.Raviraj Uppor and assisted by Dr.Nirmal Jacob, Dr.Uma Tadikonda, Dr.Amutha, Dr.Nawal & Dr.Suhad who are all well qualified and experienced.
