Badr Al Samaa Polyclinic’s pathology department is having the most Ultra Modern Laboratory existing in Oman. Dr. Sofi. Z. Rangwala It is headed by Dr. Mrs Sofi. Z. Rangwala and supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced and efficient technicians which enable us to provide the most accurate in diagnosis of diseases.

The Laboratory started along with the clinic four and half years back and it has developed to provide one of the best laboratory facilities for the people residing in Oman.

The equipment and facilities our laboratory have and provides are : Fully Auto-Analyzer

A) Hitachi -902 gives most accurate result of Blood Sugar, Lipid Profile, Liver function test, Kidney function test etc.

B) Cell Dyne - 1800 for haemetology investigations.

C) Axysm & Mini Vidas for immunology test and hormone test.

As we are having the latest and state-of-the art equipments, we give results of the lab investigations within two hours. As we have the best facilities and provides accurate results in time, our laboratory which was getting 30-40 samples per day initially is now grown and presently we are getting 200-250 samples per day.

Laboratory is also actively involved in Malaria Eradication program in conjunction with M.O.H. and also in detection of other Communicable diseases like Tuberculosis, H.I.V., Hepatitis, etc.

To provide timely and immediate Medical care to patient, all our branches have similar laboratory facilities as available in our Ruwi Branch.
