Badr Al Samaa Polyclinic has completed four & half years in the Sultanate. We look back at the past with satisfaction and look forward to the future with a positive attitude, inspired by the continuing support and encouragement from our patients. Our endeavour has been to bring quality dental treatment within the reach of everyone. Mal alignment of teeth is common among the present generation. Mal aligned teeth interferes with maintaining optimum oral hygiene, leading to dental caries and diseases of the gums. In certain children it can even interfere with their speech. We have facilities for orthodontic treatment both, removable and fixed orthodontics. From the cosmetic point of view, who wouldn’t want an aesthetic smile!! The cases where extraction of teeth becomes inevitable, we provide replacement of teeth both removable and fixed (ceramic) teeth.

Newer methods equipments and treatment modalities are fast supplementing the old ones. Intra Oral camera SIROCAM 2 is installed in all our branches. It helps the patient to see and understand the problems more clearly and the SIDEXIS software enables us to store the data along with relevant photographs and X-ray on it for easy retrieval later. At our AlKhuwair and Sohar Branches we have similar facility available. As part of further expansion we intend to install OPG X ray soon. We have plans to add other ultra modern equipments to the department which will be of diagnostic help in orthodontic treatment as well as a number of oral surgical procedures. At Badr Al Samaa we give emphasis to conservative treatment wherever possible. Diseases of the gums are highly prevalent among the population. Symptoms like bad breathing, bleeding gums, sensitivity to hot and cold drinks, mobile teeth etc should be recognized as a sign of gum disease and treated promptly.The department of dentistry is headed by Dr.Sharath Vijayan and Assisted by Dr.Smitha Tharakan & Dr.Jasmine.
