The operation theatre complex of Badr Al Samaa started functioning in May 2003. Since then there has been a steady increase in the number of surgeries undertaken per month.

The surgical departments include general surgery, plastic surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Orthopaedics and Urology.

Our operation theatres are equipped with the most modern Dragger Anaesthesia machines and various monitoring system from Germany. We also have a well equipped recovery room. In addition to elective cases we undertake emergency surgical cases on a 24hrs basis. We also have a labour and Gynaec unit with the aim of providing painless labour.

Our future plan is to increase the number of operations theatres and to acquire the latest fiberoptic laryngoscope and also post operative ventilators. The team of doctors working in this department are Dr.Vivek Kamath and Dr.Sreekala.
